Book Swap Party!

Come join us for a fun-filled evening of swapping your favorite books with fellow book lovers! Bring a book (or two) - WRAPPED - that you've already read and exchange it for something new to dive into. This event is a great way to discover new authors and genres while connecting with other book enthusiasts. The Book Swap Party will be held at 159 S Fitzhugh St, so mark your calendars and don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to refresh your reading list! Bubbly and light snacks are included in your ticket. ($10 plus Eventbrite fees)

What to Bring:

  1. a book or two, wraped, with your favorite quote from the book, or your review of why you loved it taped to the top!

During this event, you can expect to learn a wide range of valuable skills, including:

  • How to tailor and emphasize different parts of your body using shapes, colors, and textures.

  • Successful design and styling techniques for each body type.

  • Accessorizing strategies that complement your body type.

  • The importance of style boards and utilizing platforms like Pinterest to define your personal preferences.

Clothing Swap | The Hive, Fairport NY

Join Sarah of Second Look Styling at The Hive, Co-Work Studio for a higher-end clothing swap. This is an event you won't want to miss!

Have you ever been to a clothing swap? Sustainable fashion is where it's at, and at a swap you get the chance to part with items you no longer want in exchange for things you do! This event ticket and participation benefits Dress for Success Rochester, The Veteran's Center, Willow Domestic Violence, and MORE

Join us for a community-wide event with Sarah of Second Look Styling, hosted at the Hive ROC in Faiport NY on May 18th. Second Look will also have a pop-up shop that anyone can shop that day!

There are two ticket levels available:

  • $15 Ticket (before EventBrite Fees): Donate a minimum of 5 items for your chance to take five new items home of your choosing. You can donate in advance by emailing Sarah at secondlookroc@gmail.com or drop-off day of between 11am-1pm at The Hive. From there, enjoy shopping or lunch in the nearby plaza. Then head back to The Hive for the swap - we'll have giveaways, bubbly/drinks and snacks, and more! Items left over at 2:30pm? Fill a bag for $1!!

  • $10 Ticket (before EventBrite Fees): Not looking to donate? Ticket is $10 and you can come to enjoy the event and snacks/bubbly without swapping, enter giveaways, and shop Second Look's pop-up.

Snacks included. There will also be giveaways, vendor spotlights, complimentary glass of prosecco,and MORE.

All items not chosen will be donated to Dress for Success Rochester. Bring unused toiletries as well for Willow and you automatically get an extra ticket for the swap!

Can't Attend? No worries! Your ticket purchase still enters you to win the raffle items that day. We also are happy to take any clothing donations from you and pick them up at your location of choice. Just email secondlookroc@gmail.com
