About Second Look
Hello!
I’m so happy you’re here! I am the Founder, Owner, and Creative Director for Second Look Styling LLC. I have been an avid bargain hunter my entire life, no matter the store or product. I moved to Rochester in 2011 and found the area thrift stores to have exceptional quality in stock - that led me to begin showcasing my finds on Instagram of outfits I’d put together, homes I would decorate with thrifty finds, and more. Little by little my popularity grew on the secondhand scene, and I took that opportunity to help spread the good word about secondhand and sustainable fashion. My home and style have been featured in many publications (pinch me!), and I’ve planned a variety of events for myself and others entirely from DIY and upcycled items from local antique stores, garage sales, thrift stores, consignment, vintage, and more (I do love a good curb-furniture-find!).
Nothing thrills me more than showing someone you can have the Pottery Barn-Esque home and the high designer style without breaking your budget to do so. I kept telling my friends and clients to just “Take a second look” - to realize they had all the tools they needed, they just lacked the confidence to put them together. From there, Second Look was born. I love helping my clients feel styled, confident and poised through my work in image consulting, personal styling, home decorating, brand affinity, and more. And I love having fun while doing it - you’ll always see me with a smile on my face!
Second Look provides services for styling wardrobes, homes, and events using sustainable products and ideas. You can shop us online, or at our in-person boutique in the South Wedge of Rochester. I believe living thrifty isn’t living less - and I’ve been styling closets, spaces, and events throughout Rochester and beyond, showing how you too can have your needs met on any budget.
